I've been on my own for 2 days now and I finally feel the fatigue from 3 weeks of near constant moving around. I had the chance to see a couple of friends yesterday but I've otherwise kept myself relaxed. I start work in 2 days and I can't afford to go in exhausted. Nevertheless I've agreed to go drinking with a friend and his friends tonight. One of the things the fatigue has done is damped my motivation to write long entries.
Just to wrap up the travels with Josh section... On our second day in Nagasaki we treked to Glover Garden and I forced Josh up the Dutch Slope. Unfortunately rain cut our day short in Chinatown. We finally got around to Kaiten-sushi. This is where plates of sushi revolve around conveyer belts and you just grab what you want. You pay by the number/type of plates you grab, it's the cheapest and easiest way to eat sushi. Day 3 was basically washed out by rain, and I simply got Josh ready for his long trek back to Tokyo the next day. I bid adieu to Josh the next morning and I found myself in Fukuoka a couple of hours later.
This may be my last post for a while, but I'll try to get some voice posts in while I'm in Oita. So until next time, keep your stick on the ice!
