Two mid-terms back-to-back tomorrow, and a Pro Am tournament needing to be run. But instead of talking about that, let me plug a wonderful piece of software I have found.
I have long contended that IM sucks because you lose a lot of the nuances of speech. Thanks to cartoon_nate
I've recently discovered Skype
, a P2P telephone system. Unlike VoIP it can work through Firewalls, and the audio quality is great. For all you diehard IM fans, it still has a good chat system attached. It's available free for Windows, MacOS X, and Linux. I encourage you all to get it, and add me (kojaxs) so we can talk without the fear of long distance charges. I'd take talking to a person over chatting with them any day.
