Welcome!・ようこそ!
Welcome to Kozo's Thoughts! As the name suggests, this blog is dedicated to my thoughts. This blog is basically a publicly available personal blog. It exists to amuse me in the future when I look back on things that I wrote. I generally write when I feel like, which is not often. I write about things that interest me at the moment, but I also I pander to my single digit audience to let them know how I'm doing. The open nature of this blog keeps me from being too personal, but I think there is a lot of value in keeping my (boring and self-serving) posts open for all. I'm open to all comments and criticisms, but please remember that I'm not really writing this thing to change the world.

Please feel free to a leave comment on any post. Also, please sign my guestbook.

Monday September 3rd, 2007 21:40 - Ticats ate it RAW
Ohta Kouzou
In my 3 years as a Hamiltonian I had never gone to a Ticats game. I decided if I'm gonna go to a TiCats game I might as well go to the Labour Day Classic, an annual match up pitting the TiCats against the Argos. So I got some good tickets on the centre line, and I headed out to Ivor Wynne. The game itself was nothing too memorable, basically the TiCats suck. I can go on about how the TiCats suck but I think their 1-9 record basically does the talking. What was fun was the atmosphere and the sense of tradition that comes with the team. The TiCats are Hamilton's team so people young and old come out to cheer for it and have all sorts of little traditions that have been passed on through the years. There was a definite sense that people were coming out to watch an event, not just a game. It's a feeling lacking in a lot of sports I go watch, Japanese baseball being the closest. All in all a good Labour Day. Tomorrow I head to TO.
