I randomly ended up helping the school newspaper (the PaperCut) put together their student election issue. It reminds me of the time I helped Josh and Joe on the yearbook for one day. Instead of finding cryptic quotes about the future of our youth, this time I did some layout and proofreading. I'm somewhat comforted in knowing that I'm actually capable of proofreading, since I never seem to do it with my own papers. I'm quite happy that I was able to help out. The issue was mainly filled with candidate info for the student elections. After reading all the platforms it's quite obvious that our school, for better or worse, doesn't care about student politics. A lot of candidates just want to pad their resumes and the rest are too idealistic. So I encourage everyone to vote for Sock D. Monkey on election day!!!

My summer course info came in the mail today. I'm going to study French at the University on Moncton (New Brunswick). French is an area I've been trying to improve, and this program should help. Wish me luck!

Current Student Council are not happy about the editorial.

Not sure what to make of it myself.
