Grainy Moose
15 hours on the road covering 1200+ kilometers gets you to Hamilton and back to Montreal. I probably got the best sleep since I got back from Japan in Hamilton. Also, for those of you who like seafood, allow me recommend Ventura's Signature Restaurant on James Street. I also got a chance to rip a bunch of tracks from the CDs I got in Japan onto my iPod. Unfortunately I forgot to grab my VIA 6-Pak, so it looks like I'm gonna have to pay for a train ticket back.

After a quick dinner with my folks once I got back, I ended up at Josh's house. Alex, Josh, and I ended up playing a game of Waiting for Godot (read:Fehr). We ended up just huddling around the kitchen counter discussing a wide range of things including Buffy and Dawson politics. Josh ended up correcting a pamphlet written by some guy with beef against the DSU. I'm sure Alex (ramaxela) will post the pictures when I send them to him. Unfortunately, unlike Estragon and Vladimir, Alex grows weary of waiting and is forced to leave at around 23:30. After Alex's departure Josh and I order a pizza. We discover that if you tip in excess of 15% Dominos will give you a 2-for-1 coupon. Fortunately, unlike Godot, Fehr (and his friend Brad) eventually do show up at around 0:30. The four of us end up playing numerous rounds of StarCraft, with a vodka drinking session thrown in between. I don't do anything particularly memorable, except for a performance piece advocating primitivism using Zerg. Fehr and Brad left at 6:00, at which point Josh and I went to sleep. I ended up waking up around 9:30, and I proceeded to watch the 75% of the first season of Arrested Development. The Arrested Development marathon took me up to 14:30, when Josh finally woke up.

Cursing the fact that I didn't have a bike to ride home on, I decided to walk down Sherbrooke all the way home. During the walk home I ran into Adela, Noah from high school, and Rebecca. I guess walking does have its merits. ;-)

I go pick up filmfest tickets tomorrow.
